VIPERS PICTURES

VIPERS Picture night has been rescheduled for Tuesday October 21^st, 7pm at TPW.

The Squirts and Pee Wee B will still skate their practice from 6-6:50 pm…
Twin Ponds will cut the ice, and we will hit the ice promptly at 7pm.

Please be dressed and ready to go in Dark Jersey’s and Dark socks. See your Team Rep for Photo forms

PeeWee A has only one practice the week of Tuesday 10/14 6pm.

Friday 10/17 No ice slots for any team.

Week of 10/28

PeeWee B has full ice on Thursday (10/30) 6pm.

Friday night 10/31 PeeWee B and Squirts will Split Ice TPW 6pm.

These changes were made to allow the Squirts to Trick or Treat.

Week of 11/25 (Thanksgiving)

VIPERS GOALIE CLINICS UPDATE

The VIPERS are holding Goalie Clinics on the puddle at Twin Ponds East
from 7:30 - 9:45 pm on the following dates: Oct 24, & 31 and Nov 14 & 21

7:30pm - 8:15pm - Squirt/Pee Wee
8:15pm - 9:00pm - Bantam
9:00pm - 9:45pm - Midget

All interested goalies contact Robert Rosti at r.rosti@comcast.net or (412)-600-0086 so we know who to
contact if additional changes to the goalie clinic dates or times occur.

The DVHL is holding mandatory Coaches meetings at Chester Springs

2008-09 MANDATORY VIPERS PARENT TRAINING

All families in the DVHL must participate in the St. Barnabas Sportsmanship Course.
(If you have last year's certificate, then you do not need to take the course again this year)

Listed below is the URL for the web site and the team code that you will need to key in. Every family will need to
supply the completed certificate showing completion of the course to be turned into the DVHL prior to the first league
game for your child's team.

The course is 124 pages and you will have to complete all of them before you can print out a certificate.

MIDGET MINOR FUNDRAISER

Midget Minor Team is having a fundraiser car wash at Cedar Cliff branch of Commerce Bank this Saturday
August 23rd from 10am - 3pm. Come out and support them.

Please ensure to read the schedule VERY carefully, the teams will not always have the same time
or the same rink. The rest of the schedule will come when the club gets the CPIHL schedule.

2008-09 USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION

All players and coaches need to complete their 2008-2009 USA Hockey Registration and forward a
copy of their confirmation page with the bar code on it to the VIPERS Registrar - Lisa Leen or mail
it to her @ 637 Hummel Avenue, Lemoyne, PA 17043.

All registrations must be received by August 1st, 2008.

VIPERS DRY LAND TRAINING

VIPERS Dry Land training will begin the week of July 7^th and run thru the week
of August 22^nd. Training for Mite, Squirt, & Pee-Wee Teams will be Monday & Wednesday 6-7pm.
The Bantams & Midgets will be Tuesday & Thursday 6-7pm

PEEWEE EVALUATIONS

PeeWee evaluations are July 22^nd 6:15pm to 7:15pm, at Twin Ponds East.
All players need to attend for the coaches to determine the final rosters.

VIPERS BOARD MEETING

The July VIPERS Board meeting has been canceled. The next Board meeting is Aug 20.

All Board meetings are open to VIPERS families. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month
unless otherwise posted on the web site. All Meetings will take place at 7:00 P.M. and will be held at the
Harrisburg Hilton unless otherwise posted.

VIPERS 1st ANNUAL GOLF SHOOT-OUT

Friday, July 11, 2008 at Rich Valley Golf Course,

Schedule of Events: 11:30 a.m. check-in, 1:00 p.m. shotgun start, 6:00 p.m. picnic dinner and prizes

Tournament Features: 4 person scramble format, Driving range open, Skill prizes, Door prizes, 50/50 putting challenge,
Refreshments on the course, & Picnic dinner

Hole Sponsorship and Prize Donations: Hole Sponsorships can be obtained for $50.
Your name or business will be printed on a sign and displayed at a tee box on the course.
Your gracious support will also be acknowledged at the picnic dinner following the outing.

Tournament Fee: Foursome - $300, Individual - $75, Non-golfer dinner - $25
